    • A fabricated fictional fable of democracy that fails to reveal our bomb dropping, terrorist supporting, money driven white supremacist conniving American empire.

West, Cornel teaches African American studies at Princeton University 2004 Democracy Matters pg  7-8

When the US goes to spread democracy in foreign countries they do not send the privileged, instead youth of color are constantly given no other choice but to join the military and are sent to die in wars where they are forced to kill others like them all in the name of American democracy.

Thus the plan as stated by Frederick Douglass in his 4th of July Speech:

At a time like this, scorching irony, not convincing argument, is needed. O! had I the ability, and could reach the nation's ear, I would, to-day, pour out a fiery stream of biting ridicule, blasting reproach, withering sarcasm, and stern rebuke. For it is not light that is needed, but fire; it is not the gentle shower, but thunder. We need the storm, the whirlwind, and the earthquake. The feeling of the nation must be quickened; the conscience of the nation must be roused; the propriety of the nation must be startled; the hypocrisy of the nation must be exposed; and its crimes against God and man must be proclaimed and denounced.

What, to the American slave, is your 4th of July? I answer; a day that reveals to him, more than all other days in the year, the gross injustice and cruelty to which he is the constant victim. To him, your celebration is a sham; your boasted liberty, an unholy license; your national greatness, swelling vanity; your sounds of rejoicing are empty and heartless; your denunciation of tyrants, brass fronted impudence; your shouts of liberty and equality, hollow mockery; your prayers and hymns, your sermons and thanksgivings, with all your religious parade and solemnity, are, to Him, mere bombast, fraud, deception, impiety, and hypocrisy  a thin veil to cover up crimes which would disgrace a nation of savages. There is not a nation on the earth guilty of practices more shocking and bloody than are the people of the United States, at this very hour.

Go where you may, search where you will, roam through all the monarchies and despotisms of the Old World, travel through South America, search out every abuse, and when you have found the last, lay your facts by the side of the everyday practices of this nation, and you will say with me, that, for revolting barbarity and shameless hypocrisy, America reigns without a rival....

As long as we are trapped in silence around the issue of white supremacy, the oppression done by the US government will persist.  The buck stops here we must confront the covert evils of white advantage head on by using the power of our voices.
McIntosh, 90 (Peggy, Associate Director of the Wellesley Collage Center for Research on Women, “White Privilege: Unpacking the Invisible Knapsack,” taken from White Privilege edited by Paula S. Rothenerg, pg. 101) CMP

We must refuse any and all forms of racism and whiteness if we want to avoid domination.  Legislative solutions have simply masked white supremacy in the United States, just making it more difficult for victims to call out their oppressor but not actually stopping the violence.
Memmi 00 (Albert, Professor Emeritus of Sociology at University of Paris, Racism, p. 163-5)

Only by confronting the history of whiteness in the US can we begin to engage in Socratic questioning, prophetic witness, and tragicomic hope so that we can move away from the deeply racist and imperial roots within our so-called democracy.
West, Cornel teaches African American studies at Princeton University 2004 Democracy Matters pg 41

Before continuing to spread flawed democracy assistance we must first reveal the racist roots of our past.  Any plan that attempts to avoid the truths of the United States’ past will only continue endanger us all.
