Women are central in Arab Springs. They stimulated the movement and it’s disturbing to know that their sweat, pain, struggle and power are going uncompensated. It is oppressing to know that there are no references to equality in the Egyptian constitution passed down.

We must abandon the misleading concept that the United States is qualified to inform anyone on what is or what is not democracy. They are a walking contradiction to the system and have a legacy to prove it.
